Liopetro is the most unique and ultimately traditional and rustic wedding venue in Paphos! This magical venue is set amongst beautiful gardens and on archaeological grounds that are infused in history.

A wedding ceremony and reception here is completely private and away from inquisitive eyes being held within gated stone walls within the Cyprus countryside with views of the glittering Mediterranean Sea, include this with a ceremony below a white draped gazebo with chandelier or the ancient 12th century church ‘Panagia Odigtria’ and 5 star menus with local ingredients this wedding venue offers you a day beyond belief.

Liopetro also offers a private Wedding Suite for the wedding party from 12pm to 12am where a Bride or Groom can spend tranquil time to prepare for his or her special day, you could even invite your hairdresser or make up artist or just to have your friends and family around you.

As the venue is completely yours for the day you can have a choice of an array of canapés and cocktail menus whilst you and your guests relax after the ceremony and whilst your photographer is taking those all important shots. Liopetro’s executive chef and his team offer many mouth watering menus designed to fulfill your senses.
After dark Liopetro is lit by globe string lighting offering the most romantic wedding setting in Cyprus to enjoy your celebrations.

As this venue is naturally beautiful you require very little decor.
Green Olive

The Green Olive with its Secret Garden is a hidden gem of a wedding venue, you could pass this amazing rustic tavern and stunning courtyard without even noticing it. Once you do enter this remarkable venue you will instantly understand why its called the Secret Garden. A truly traditional Cypriot tavern with stone walls and local blooms and vines perfect for a private wedding. Located in the Tomb of the Kings area an ideal choice and it has the added bonus of being close to our glittering Mediterranean sea for sunset photographs and videography.

After your ceremony you can enjoy a drinks reception prior to sitting and enjoying Cypriot cuisine at its best, mouth watering local fare and wines. As this venue is totally private you can enjoy your entertainment albeit a private band, professional DJ or how about traditional Cypriot dancers until very late in the evening.
Ethnographical Museum

The famous Ethnographical Museum of Paphos is one of the most traditional venues you could pick for a civil or religious wedding ceremony. Found in the heart of the old town of Paphos you can have a truly unique and private wedding and reception. Sheltered from public view the exterior courtyard area of the museum provides a totally intimate outdoor space.

The museum itself is set in a private house which has been owned by the Eliades family for generations. The family founded the museum in 1958 and the George Eliades’ daughter still takes care of the museum today. The exhibits are specific to the customs and living conditions of Cypriot locals for centuries.
​
The museum can offer Champagne and canapés to be served after the wedding if you so choose. You can also have a reception meal plus entertainment held at this venue. The courtyard by evening is stunning with the exterior lighting.
The Ethnographical Museum is fast becoming a popular venue for traditional weddings due to the privacy and beauty of this amazing setting.
Ottoman Baths

The Ottoman Baths is a truly rustic and traditional venue found in the heart of Paphos old town close to the market place.
Offering stunning sea views and the gardens surrounding an explosion of colour from local flowers this venue is the perfect backdrop for your ceremony. The Ottoman (Turkish) Baths operated until the 1950’s and they consist of a stone vaulted building the three areas, a reception area, an intermediate area and the main baths.
The building has now been restored and is used as the Paphos Municipal Cultural Centre… you cannot get more traditional.

The external area has been beautifully landscaped to meet the needs for a wonderful wedding ceremony in a truly unique location.
